Course Overview
Create your own decorative standing table tile set under the guidance of Dana AlMajid & Shouq AlSada. This workshop covers everything from concept to finished, ready-to-display piece.

4 sessions • 2 hours each • twice a week

Session Goals

• Day 1: Concept & Design

  • Develop your tiled design look through a session of brainstorming

  • Plan your color palette 

• Day 2: Craft & Decoration

  • Prepare and cut clay slabs to size

  • Apply drawing and underglaze details on the tiles

• Day 3: Assembly 

  • Prepare to assemble fired tiles to the table from all sides
    

• Day 4: Finish

  • Grout, seal, and polish for lasting shine

• Translating sketches into clay templates

• Precision slab-rolling, cutting, and edge finishing

• Brushing, sponging & under-glazing

• Proper tile adhesion, grout application & cleanup
