Learn how to produces your original designs in this 4-day, hands-on course where digital design meets ceramic production.

You’ll be guided step by step through the full workflow, designing a mold in 3D program - Blender to creating a plaster mold and slip casting your first ceramic piece.

Over four evenings, you’ll:

• Understand the basics of slip casting and ceramic mold-making for small-scale production.

• Learn beginner-friendly 3D design in Blender and prepare your file for 3D printing.

• Design and export your own mold for production use.

• Cast plaster into your printed mold and prepare it for repeated slip casting.

• Make clay slip and cast your first piece, you can scale for future production runs.

Please bring your own laptop if you have one — we have a limited supply of laptops and computers available at the studio.
